2021 Summer Camps
This learn to play program is perfect for kids of all ages who are looking for an introduction to the sport of tennis or to further develop their skills. It’s perfect for beginner to intermediate level juniors aged 4-18 years old who are looking to learn the sport with an emphasis being placed on learning the fundamentals, rallying, serving and point play. A progressive approach will be used with age appropriate nets and tennis balls. Games will be played that are age and skill level appropriate. This program will run weekly throughout the summer from 1:00-3:00 daily with a max 6 students to 1 coach ratio.

Program Terms
Camp fees are NON REFUNDABLE but TRANSFERRABLE for any registered week of camp
BUT must be requested TWO WEEKS prior to the first day of the camp. Requests within the
two-week period will not be transferrable. Extenuating circumstances will be considered.
Missed days due to sickness, injuries, vacations or other reasons will not be reimbursed.
Prorated fees are not offered for days absent, or other full services not utilized.
In the event of rain, camp will be cancelled and a rain check will be issued and can be used on
another day of camp for the duration of the summer. 24 HOURS notice is required for RAIN
CHECK.
Summer Camp Protocols
Overall Protocols
- Respect all communicated standards from national, provincial and municipal
governments
- Follow guidelines put forth by provincial and national sport governing bodies (Tennis
Canada and Tennis Ontario)
- Respect club policies and procedures
- Staff members, parents or guardians and children must not attend the program if they
are sick, even if symptoms resemble a mild cold. Symptoms to look for include: fever,
cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, headache and a
general feeling of being unwell.
Staff Protocols
- Staff must fill out screening questionnaire and submit before the first day of operation
- Staff will use hand sanitizer between groups/lessons and as they enter and exit the
facility
- Maintain proper social distancing with participants as well as adults/parents as much as
possible
- Avoid sharing equipment/supplies whenever possible. Disinfect regularly if sharing
cannot be avoided.
- Clean and sanitize coaching baskets, ball tubes and any other equipment after each
program
- Maintain physical distancing during breaks, and outdoor/indoor activities. Minimize
physical contact with the children wherever possible.
- STAY AT HOME if you are sick or show symptoms. If either, please notify person in
charge immediately.
Student Protocols
- Arrive as close to start and pickup time as possible to reduce the time at the facility
- Provide hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray to participants
- Parents who are nonmembers of the club are not to enter the premise other than in
case of an emergency
- Communication will be done using technology as much as possible (text, phone or
email) to communicate with parents
- Clubhouse will be closed so no access to campers or parents
- Washrooms are only accessible in emergency situations if available
- Practice social distancing as much as possible
- Do not share drinks and snacks with other participants
- Practice good hygiene
- Washing or sanitizing hands as appropriate before and after breaks and at the
beginning and end of the camp.
- Sneeze and cough into your sleeve
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth with unwashed hands
- Wash your clothes as soon as you get home
- STAY AT HOME if you are sick or show symptoms. If either, please notify person in
charge immediately
