Membership 2019

Dear Appleby Tennis Club members.

It is hard to believe with the cold and ice we’ve experienced recently, that spring is around the corner. Many of you are anxious to get outside to play tennis at Appleby Tennis Club and will be happy to know that all membership fees remain the same as last year. Here are a few dates that you will want to mark in your calendar.

Monday March 4 is when you may register online. The process is the same as last year for returning members. Select “Already a member”, then choose the type of membership and leagues you want. Additional family members may be added. For new members, select “First time registering online?” and follow the registration process. You may pay with a credit card or e-transfer.

Sunday April 7 from 1-4 is the in person registration date. If you would prefer to pay cash or cheque or you need help with registration, simply come to the clubhouse. This also gives members a chance to meet the ATC directors and club pro to have any questions answered.

Fobs are still available to members wishing access to the clubhouse at a cost of $20.00. Please be advised that the ATC will no longer return your $20.00 fob fee after June 1, 2019. If you currently have a fob and would like a refund, please do so by June 1. If you are a new member and wish to purchase a fob for the clubhouse you may pay for it online when you register. Once again, refunds for fobs will not be given after June 1, 2019.

Wishing you all a great season of outdoor tennis and hope that you take advantage of the many activities the ATC has to offer.

Appleby Tennis Club has 6 lighted asphalt courts, a Clubhouse, practice wall and convenient parking. During the 2011/12 season, four courts were reconstructed - thanks to an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. This is the second OTF grant Appleby has received, the first grant in 2002 replaced the outdated lighting system.

We are located at the east end of Nelson Park in Burlington, Ontario. Access is from Longmoor Drive, beside Pauline Johnson Public School. There is a shared driveway that leads to the courts.
